Who We Are

The Smithfield & Stoneybatter Business Association was established in November 2014 for the benefit of our members and the local community in which we operate. We are a not-for-profit association dedicated to the improvement and conservation of this historic and important part of Dublin, and we are committed to promoting this wonderfully diverse area in which we all work.

What We Do

We are a not-for-profit association dedicated to the improvement and conservation of this historic and important part of Dublin, and we are committed to promoting this wonderfully diverse area in which we all work.

The Benefits of Joining

  • The Association funds a bimonthly newsletter with an ever increasing mailing list of 2,000 including residents and businesses
  • Businesses from Smithfield/Stoneybatter are listed on our new website
  • All members receive a free mention in each newsletter
  • The association liaises with event managers to ensure compliance with Health & Safety developments
  • The association works closely with Dublin City Council to develop the annual SSBA FOOD FESTIVAL
  • The Association makes representations to An Garda Siochána, The Waste Disposal Unit of the DCC and other bodies concerned with the upkeep and safety of the area
  • Members are able to advertise in the newsletter.
